I would encourage you to attempt those yourself, such as: fuel filter, spark plugs, fluid changes, brakes etc. Timing belts/water pump is quite difficult on this car simply due to the dual overhead camshaft setup on this V-6 with VERY limited space under the bonnet. The key is to *time* the events so as to perform a repair as well as related repair/replacement *simultaneously*. For example, if a repair facility changes your timing belt, have them do the regular drive belts and so on. This greatly reduces your labor charges and you can focus on the basic repairs.
